Last week, we were treated to a drink and food pairings party at the gorgeous Mondrian SoHo Hotel in New York City, courtesy of Stella Artois Cidre. This European-style cider is made from hand-picked apples for a crisp, light and refreshing drink that’s the perfect alternative to prosecco and sauvignon blanc. It’s naturally gluten-free, so it’s a great choice for anyone on restricted gluten diets.
Stella Artois Cidre is best enjoyed in a white wine glass and pairs especially well with cheeses like asiago, blue and manchego. Other foods served at the party included sliders (mini hamburgers), bite sized lobster rolls and pulled pork. Belgian endive and Waldorf salad also make excellent pairings.
We really enjoyed the eventing which included live music, delicious food and several refills of Cidre (yum!).
