Julianne Moore gets wrapped up in Prabal Gurung

The recently presented Fall 2014 collections are steadily beginning to appear on the red carpet. Julianne was the latest star to have the honor of wearing one, but her Prabal Gurung creation probably should have remained up on the runway. She opted for the designer’s ivory silk draped dress with patterned metallic lurex jacquard asymmetrical skirt on Monday night for the Los Angeles unveiling of Non-Stop. Julianne capped off the look with strappy black pumps.

It’s the top part of this look we’re having a problem with since it features a combination mummy, toga and spa wrap vibe. Are you equally vexed by this just-presented piece or do you think the Oscar nominee made it work?

  • Yeah

Moore is so beautiful, but she always picks unflattering gowns. She, herself, looks gorgeous. But the dress looks bad, awkward, and uncomfortable, like a straitjacket.
