Red carpet: Broadway's best shine at the 2013 Tony Awards

Broadway’s biggest stars came out in New York City to celebrate the season’s best at Sunday night’s 2013 Tony Awards. Embellishments and embroidery took center stage and color was definitely trending on the red carpet, especially in the form of blue and pink. Here’s a recap of some of the more notable looks from the award show.

Sienna Miller attended the annual awards in support of her nominated beau Tom Sturridge. The actress selected a pink Burberry Prorsum Resort 2014 wrap front strapless dress styled with a floral headband. Scarlett Johansson went with an understated black Saint Laurent Fall 2013 dress with an animal print bodice. Saint Laurent was also behind her black blazer, clutch and Janis platform pumps. It was a dramatic blue and black Donna Karan Atelier strapless gown with sheer bodice inserts and ruffle accent for Anna Kendrick at the awards. Amrapali gems and an Edie Parker clutch wrapped up the look.

Jane Krakowski sparkled in a white embellished Escada gown. She polished off the look with David Webb jewels, a Jimmy Choo Tube clutch and a metallic belt by Maison Martin Margiela. Badgley Mischka‘s Spring 2013 embroidered gown with sheer skirt was Megan Hilty‘s pretty pick for the event. David Yurman jewelry, a Judith Leiber silver clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti heels served as accessories. New Tony Award winner Patina Miller certainly stood out in this multicolored Zac Posen Spring 2013 floral gown with pleated bodice. Fred Leighton gems completed the look.

We’re really big fans of Anna’s Donna Karan Atelier creation and Patina’s award-worthy Zac Posen. Who do you think made the biggest red carpet impression at the Tony Awards?
