Red carpet: Top looks from this year's Teen Choice Awards 2013

Several stars hit the blue carpet at the Teen Choice Awards 2013 in Universal City on Sunday night. Color and prints were practically everywhere with celebs taking advantage of striking details to really stand out. Here are just a few of the more memorable looks from the event.

Selena Gomez went with a dark green Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2013 dress featuring slashed accents. She accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry and Nicholas Kirkwood lace pumps. Nina Dobrev‘s printed peplum top and matching pants both come from J. Mendel‘s Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The Vampire Diaries actress polished off the look with Martin Katz earrings, a Devi Kroell orange clutch and Dolce & Gabbana green ankle wrap sandals. It was a fun embellished pink Stella McCartney Resort 2014 dress for Kerry Washington at the awards. A pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle Strass pumps rounded out the look.

Lily Collins combined a black Houghton Resort 2014 top with a bold palm-printed Fausto Puglisi Resort 2014 high-low skirt. Graziela Gems and EF Collection jewels as well as black Brian Atwood Zenith platform pumps finished off the look. House of Holland‘s Resort 2014 offering was the source of Hailee Steinfeld‘s orange and navy starburst-printed dress. She capped off the look with coordinating Oscar Tiye Malikah ankle strap sandals. Holland Roden brightened up the blue carpet in this yellow Notte by Marchesa lace dress with peplum accent. Pomellato and Jacob & Co. gems, a white Edie Parker clutch along with white Manolo Blahnik sandals all served as accessories.

We absolutely love Selena’s edgy dress and Nina’s sleek ensemble. Lily also gets a lot of credit for thinking out-of-the-box, especially at an event that caters to teens where it would be easy to go mainstream. Do you have a favorite look from this year’s Teen Choice Awards?
