Radiant Orchid may be the official color of 2014 according to Pantone, but stars are opting to feel blue on the red carpet this award season. Anna Kendrick just stepped out for the 66th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday wearing a vivid turquoise Monique Lhuillier Resort 2014 dress. Black Christian Louboutin booties capped off the look. Mindy Kaling went with a darker shade for this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. The actress made her mark in a navy David Meister draped gown accented by a Jerome C. Rousseau clutch. Navy was also the color of Amber Heard’s dramatic Atelier Versace one shoulder gown at the 71st Golden Globe Awards. She polished off the look with Graziela Gems ear cuffs and black Jimmy Choo platform sandals.

With all these true blue moments, we’re betting the rich hue makes several notable appearances next month at the Oscars. Which blue look was your favorite this award season?
