Last week, we highlighted Kim Basinger‘s structured suit at the Grudge Match premiere in New York City, but she’s not the only one going masculine on the red carpet. Kristen Wiig along with Miley Cyrus have both opted for ensembles with menswear-inspired features from Michael Kors and Maison Martin Margiela respectively. Julia Roberts even got into the act at the Los Angeles unveiling of August: Osage County last Monday night. The actress selected a Givenchy shawl collar tuxedo blazer layered over a dress comprised of a white shirt top and a black skirt. Givenchy was also the source of the star’s black sandals.
We like certain aspects of this mannish trend, although some celebs have taken it a step too far on the red carpet. Do you plan on embracing your masculine side?
