“Brands will continue to create excitement and interest with designer and celebrity collaborations, pop-up shops and limited-edition collections – something we saw a lot of in 2010.”

- Jennifer Davidson, cofounder and managing director

“Long skirts and relaxed silhouettes with a bit of a 70s feel, pops of color and print mixing.”

- Beth Herbst, cofounder and style director

“Faux fur and sequins will continue to be popular throughout the winter. In the spring and summer, I think we are going to see a ton of bright colors and prints being mixed and matched.”

- Anna Rice, StyleBakeryTeen fashion and beauty editor

“We’re getting a lot prettier. Women are craving glamour like never before. Hair is fuller with full on voluminous curls and waves. Nail salons have become the new hangout for pampering your toes and feet, and anything with a delicate luxurious fabric will be in demand. It’s the time to celebrate femininity and girl power. I am also smelling a gold rush again, with the focus next year being jewelry – mega necklaces, watches, hoops, all jewelry in gold.”

- Daisy Lewellyn, style contributor and “queen of effortless chic”

“I think we’ll see plenty of clean lines and flawless silhouettes mingling with the usual vibrant colors of spring. Minimalism is never really ‘out’ but it will be reinvented next year to reflect a very crisp, modern approach to understated-chic dressing.”

- Tanya Sharma, daily scoop editor

“Color is going to return in a big way.”

- Stephany McKnight, celebrity dish editor

“I’ve seen some predictions that cropped will be the ‘new’ pant length in 2011, which is sad for me as a short curvy girl. I also think we’ll see more bold color, like in the DKNY pre-fall collection.”

- Andrea Thatcher, StyleBakeryTeen star style editor

“I think the 50s and 60s trends a la Mad Men are going to continue to be a strong trend for 2011. A return to ladylike glamour with a bit of an edge.”

- Jamie Allison Sanders, beauty editor

“I predict that in 2011 sequins are going to be all the rage.”

- Haley Hogan, StyleBakeryTeen gossip editor

“I think that 2011 will continue the trend of soft feminine ruffles and lace. It’s so refreshing to see women dressing ladylike again.”

- Christine Fox, StyleBakeryMom style editor

“Color! While I appreciated pale nude apparel and accessories this year, I just can’t wear it with my porcelain complexion. As the economy (hopefully) improves and as we become more positive, I think we’ll begin turning to rich, vibrant color once again.”

- Courtney Strimel, StyleBakeryMom style editor

“I definitely think there will be a serious nod to the seventies era. 2010 had a lot of 80s influence, and I think skinny jeans will slowly transition into bell bottoms again (great to wear with wedges in spring!)”

- Arlyn Hernandez, beauty editor

“Carry-overs from 2010 = lots of clogs, more intricate work with lace, wild animal prints and Eastern-inspired designs towards the beginning of the year. As we move into Fall 2011, look for a crop of young designers to shake up the fashion scene a bit! Kids like Prabal Gurung, Suno and maybe even Project Runway‘s recent winner, Gretchen Jones, have the ability to create clothing that translates allowing real women with real curves to look amazing.”

- Stacy Cox, TV expert and style contributor
