Loeffler Randall Faux Fur Military Jacket, $525 at shopbop.com

“Like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, this jacket is two of my favorite trends for the season in one: military and faux fur. You could layer a faux fur vest over your favorite military jacket, but why add unnecessary and unflattering bulk? Pair with very dark skinny jeans and you are good to go!”

15″ Nappa Shearling, $420 at no6store.com

“These will keep my feet warm during the rainiest of California storms and I can pair them with my favorite JBrand jeggings. These handmade beauties are rugged enough for weekends in the country and chic enough for shopping jaunts downtown. The plush and luxurious shearling lining means I won’t have to wear socks! Clog boots are the ‘new’ Wellie Boot for Winter 2010.”

Rockstar Super Skinny Denim Leggings, $34.50 at oldnavy.com

“Like most women, I fall victim to the idea that jeans have to be expensive to be good. That was until I discovered these jeans at Old Navy. (Don’t let the name mislead you – they are far more jean than legging.) These guys are perfect. The legs are super skinny so you can put them in a pair of boots (ankle, knee, over-the-knee) and never once worry about bunching or bulging. They are also extremely stretchy, which means extremely comfortable. And despite the cheapy price-tag, they look just as luxe as a pair of J Brands (trust me – my friends often confuse them on me every time I wear them). I’ve got them in all three colors – dark blue, black and gray – and they look awesome with oversized sweaters, blousy tops and even make my Sunday “college t-shirt” wardrobe look a little more classy. These jeans are my go-to every day and will most definitely be getting me through Fall.”

Rebecca Taylor Belted Wool-Blend Cape, $625 at net-a-porter.com

“Capes are making a huge comeback this season. With the modern updated silhouettes and new colors such as nude and camel, cape is the ultimate ‘It’ thing this fall. Pair it with skinny pants or denim for relaxed weekend look, or a pencil skirt for a chic work attire.”

Claw 22-karat rose-gold-plated ring, $790 at net-a-porter.com

“This feels like a fresh take on the popular connected, knuckle ring, with an aggressive element of a claw – actually two flanking each side of the arched band. I just love it, and am now into rose-gold-plated silver, thanks to this ring. All in all, it’s certainly a conversation starter!”

Loeffler Randall Back Zip rubber rain boots, $195 at shopbop.com

“I really love stylish rain boots. These look like Loeffler Randall’s regular boots (which can cost up to $800), but they’re under $200, come in three colors, have a functional back zipper, and are lined in jersey cotton, the most comfortable material in the world. I can’t wait to tuck them into leggings and jeggings on stormy days.”
