SBT: How would you describe your personal sense of style?
Samantha: My look is young and flirty, with a little hipster downtown.
SBT: What items are you buying this fall?
Samantha: I just bought these amazing YSL burgundy leather boots. I also really like velvet for fall.
SBT: Did you go to any of the shows during New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week? What are you looking forward to fashion-wise for spring?
Samantha: I went to Marchesa, Badgley Mischka, Rebecca Taylor, Pamela Roland, Yigal Azrouel, Charlotte Ronson, Jill Stuart, Brian Reyes and some others. A lot of the trends are the same as fall, just more emphasized. I really liked some tights with spray painted tattoos.
SBT: What are some of your favorite clothing brands and places to shop?
Samantha: I love Lanvin and Marchesa. For day I like younger brands like Elizabeth & James, Phillip Lim, J Brand, Ben Sherman, and Charlotte Ronson. I buy most of my clothes at Bergdorf’s because I’m there so frequently. I like going vintage shopping in all the different neighborhoods around the city. I also like Zara, and occasionally H&M.
SBT: What are your favorite cosmetic labels?
Samantha: I use La Mer for skin care and for make up I use Bare Minerals and Trish McEvoy.
SBT: Lastly, what can we expect to see from you on this season of “The City”?
Samantha: You will see more of a personal side because last season I was in a relationship and didn’t open up much to the public. So I’ve been dating and you’ll be able to see the relationship with my boss and my friends Whitney and Roxy. I don’t ever really film with Olivia and Erin.
